Pentecost Sunday, May 31st – “Wear Red!”

Send us photos and videos wearing RED for Pentecost Sunday

The Feast of Pentecost commemorates the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples of Jesus, and the birth of the Christian church. According to the Acts of the Apostles, when the Holy Spirit came, “divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them” (2:3). Consequently, the liturgical color for Pentecost in the Christian calendar is red.

Because of this, many Christians wear red on Pentecost Sunday. Since we’re physically distanced right now, we’re inviting you to send in a photo or video of yourself wearing red. These can be uploaded to the link below.
